We used the simulated FC as a model of pyramidal hippocampal cell under conditions such as in the classical Long-Term Potentiation(LTP) experiments. We configured the FC in such a way that it had 13 excitatory inputs and 3 inhibitory inputs. In this demo the assumed EPSP amplitude was 5mV. Hence, each FC’s synapse substituted ca. 1000 biological synapses.
